PORTLAND, Ore. - Cascade Corp., a manufacturer of materials handling products for industrial vehicles, announced Wednesday its acquisition of American Compaction Equipment, Inc.,(ACE).
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ACE manufactures wheel attachments used in soil compaction applications. The company has about 20 employees.
According to Robert C. Warren, president and CEO of Cascade, the acquisition of American Compaction will help the company to expand its presence in the construction attachment market.
Andy Anderson, Cascade’s CFO noted: “We expect the acquisition to add between $8 and $10 million in revenue next year with operating income slightly above the operating income levels of our current business in North America."
