NAPLES, Fla. - Industrial Nanotech, Inc. announced Monday a joint venture partnership with Mercatus & Partners Group, an Italian investment firm, for a manufacturing facility in Italy to produce the company’s Nansulate line of nanotechnology-based coatings.
According to Stuart Burchill, CEO of Industrial Nanotech, Europe, the Middle East and Asia are three of Industrial Nanotech’s strongest markets and it has become increasingly difficult to cost-effectively ship products from its manufacturing facility in Denver, Colo.
Mercatus will provide the business expertise and funding needed for the venture in return for a minority interest in the manufacturing entity, said Burchill.
