JERICHO, N.Y. - Griffon Corp. announced Thursday that Telephonics Corp., its electronic information and communication systems subsidiary, has received awards worth $9 million from SRCTec, Inc., for turnkey production of a Counter Improvised Explosive Device (Counter IED) system.
Telephonics’ awards-to-date are approximately $345 million and the company expects work for all awards to be completed during or before the fourth quarter 2007.

SRCTec is a wholly owned subsidiary of Syracuse Research Corp. and provides integrated solutions, project management and full life-cycle support.
