Libbey Names Jonathon S. Freeman To New Position Of Vice President, Global Supply Chain

Freeman will be joining Libbey as an Officer of the Company on May 7, 2007.

TOLEDO, Ohio - Libbey Inc., a manufacturer of glass tableware, announced Tuesday the naming of Jonathon S. Freeman to the new position of Vice President, Global Supply Chain.
 
Freeman will be joining Libbey as an Officer of the Company on May 7, 2007.

In this new position, Freeman will have direct responsibility for all domestic United States operations including plant operations, materials and finished goods purchasing for all businesses, warehousing, distribution, logistics, production planning and customer service. In addition, he will be responsible for import procurement and sourcing.

Most recently, Freeman served as Director of Global Logistics for Delphi Corp., where he had direct managerial responsibility for the procurement and execution of the corporate transportation and related services from over 7,100 supply locations serving 231 manufacturing locations and 169 warehouses in 31 countries.

Libbey has glass tableware manufacturing plants in Louisiana and Ohio, as well as in Mexico, China, Portugal and the Netherlands. The company had net sales of $689.5 million in 2006.
