Hanson Pipe & Precast said Tuesday that it has purchased Price Brothers Co., an Ohio-based concrete pressure pipe manufacturer.
Over 500 Price Brothers employees will become Hanson employees as a result of the acquisition.
“The combined operations of Price Brothers and Hanson will create one of the largest North American suppliers of products to the water transmission segment of the municipal and power markets,” said James S. Clift, Price Brothers president and CEO.
Hanson Pipe & Precast is a North American manufacturer of concrete pipe and precast concrete products, such as residential and commercial building components, bridges, manholes and retaining walls.
