Albemarle Corp. announced Tuesday that it will increase the prices of the neat portion of its aluminum alkyl products by about 25 percent on a global basis effective April 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.
Albemarle also will increase the prices of the neat portion of its magnesium and zinc alkyl products up to 100 percent on a global basis effective April 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.
In addition, prices for solvent blends of organometallics will be increased, as needed, to reflect higher solvent acquisition costs.
