The U.S.-based RubberNetwork and Brazil-based Webb Negocios announced Tuesday a joint-venture, RubberNetwork-Webb. The new venture will supply chain services for the tire and rubber industry.
RubberNetwork-Webb will initially cover markets in North America and Europe, but is expected to expand to cover Latin America and Asia. It will provide services in strategic sourcing, supplier performance and improvement, supplier connectivity, eSourcing and logistics.
RubberNetwork is a global consortium for the tire and rubber industry. It is owned by industry companies like Goodyear, and Cooper Tire and Rubber, among others.
Webb is a specialized consulting, eBusiness and outsourcing company.
