Association For Manufacturing Excellence Names New President

Ralph Keller also named to Chicago Manufacturing Center's Board of Directors

Ralph Keller has been named President of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME). Additionally, he has been named to the Board of Directors for the Chicago Manufacturing Center.

“I am very excited about the challenge of leading AME as the group works to expand its influence in the manufacturing sector and beyond,” says Keller. “As North American manufacturers struggle to compete with inexpensive overseas labor, it has become paramount that they streamline operations and run a Lean enterprise. I only see AME’s message becoming more important over the next few years and I look forward to helping AME raise awareness of how important efficiency is to the success of a company in today’s marketplace.”

Keller has been a member of AME for the past 15 years.

“I am also pleased to be named to the Board of Directors for the Chicago Manufacturing Center, which plays such an important role in promoting manufacturing within the Chicago area and helping area companies better compete,” says Keller. “I see my background, combined with my presidency of AME dovetailing well with my duties on the Board for the Chicago Manufacturing Center. We need to keep working with companies to drive innovation and have an open exchange of ideas to help grow our economy.”
