PASADENA, Calif. (AP) - Engineering and construction company Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it received a program management consultant contract from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Jacobs will be responsible for overseeing capital project development, transit planning and operations, engineering services, facilities maintenance and management and vehicle procurement. In addition, the company will provide information technology, intelligent transportation systems, safety, security and construction management services.
The company said its primary objective will be supporting capital project development and associated construction management activities.
Jacobs will help the commission achieve on-time, on-budget project completions and will assist with coordinating and overseeing design and construction management consultants, including construction engineering and inspection consultants.
