Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of smooth interior, corrugated high-density polyethylene pipe, said it will break ground today on its newest manufacturing plant, and its first in New Jersey.
The 68,000 square foot plant, located on 32 acres in Logan Township, Gloucester County, will cost $12 million and create 100 new jobs, while expanding the Ohio-based company’s services into the Eastern U.S. storm water drainage market.
According to the company, New Jersey has lost over 100,000 manufacturing jobs in the last five years.
