Timken Co. said Wednesday it will increase prices by 5 percent on all carbon and alloy grade tubing products.
The price change will be effective with shipments beginning on August 14, 2006. Raw material and fuel surcharges will remain in effect.
Timken makes highly engineered bearings, alloy steels and related products.
