PerkinElmer Inc., a manufacturer for the health sciences and photonics markets, said Tuesday it acquired a line of Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) Photonics from the UK’s Triton Technology Ltd.
Terms weren't disclosed. DMA products are used by scientists in the polymer, pharmaceutical and food industries for quality control and advanced research.“The new DMA 8000 represents the type of novel, next-generation technology we are investing in to continually provide solutions to customers that enable them to advance the pace and precision of their research and testing.” said PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences president Robert F. Friel.
