If you're convinced that we MUST take action on the issues of sustainability, this conference is for you. The Lean and Green Summit will gather industry professionals already making strides toward sustainability and those who want to start making the short-term AND long-term changes needed. DAY 1: Participants will experience a day of presentations by leading-edge companies who have actuated on their company's ability to be sustainable. Specific presentations will include: Design for the environment: Operational and product design for cradle-to-grave responsibility; Engineering sustainable operational processes; Performance measurement: principles and practical applications of environmental performance measurement in a green company; People in a green organization: Managing and developing people as you move toward sustainability including those associated with the company: suppliers, bankers, auditors, and others. DAY 2: The second day of the event will offer an intense, hands-on developmental workshops designed to give attendees a roadmap to moving toward sustainability.
