A researcher for the Environmental Assessment Center in Japan has created a new “meat” that is made by extracting protein and fat from “sewage mud,” or, in other words, human excrement. The dish is potentially much more environmentally friendly, but many consumers may be put off by the idea of eating something made from poo. Would you eat it?
