As a promotional stunt, ConAgra, along with its PR firm, invited a group of food bloggers to a dinner at an Italian restaurant, only to later reveal the bloggers had been served frozen ConAgra dinners. The company hoped the bloggers would be pleasantly surprised, however many of the bloggers were upset, posting angry entries about the incident on their sites. ConAgra and its PR firm issued apologies.
