Residents of Blue Springs, Mississippi spent years looking for a new automotive assembly plant in the region, and Toyota's plan for a 2,000-worker facility was a dream come true. But as Toyota's sales dropped, the plant was idled before it even began — and the recent recall issues haven't helped. In the end, Blue Springs doesn't really care about all the talk, they just want the plant to open up.
