Master Appliance Corp. (Racine, WI) has introduced its new, butane-powered, Model MT-30 Table-Top Microtorch for applications including shrinking tubing and specialty connectors, heating and spot drying materials, and more. Its self-contained design, says the company, also eliminates the need for external fuel tanks, costly piping or unsightly hoses.

Master Appliance Corp. (Racine, WI) has introduced its new, butane-powered, Model MT-30 Table-Top Microtorch for applications including shrinking tubing and specialty connectors, heating and spot drying materials, and more. Its self-contained design, says the company, also eliminates the need for external fuel tanks, costly piping or unsightly hoses. Other features include:

  • A self-igniting design, producing a continuous “hands-free” adjustable flame up to 2,500 degrees F.

  • A built-in refillable, metal fuel tank that runs approximately one hour on a full charge.
  • An easy-to-use, built-in ignition system, which meets the Consumer Products Safety Commission safety requirements, including a slide lock safety feature that prevents accidental ignition.
  • A 3” diameter circular base which is both stable and compact and easily moved.
