New Pig Corp. (Tipton, PA) has launched its Vapor-Control Latching Drum Lid, built to provide easy access and security to materials stored in 55-gallon open-head steel drums. The new drum lid is ideal for the temporary storage of hazardous waste and features an additional 5”diameter easy-access port to accept waste and minimize vapor emissions. Nitrile gaskets and locking mechanisms help reduce VOC emissions and odor, enhancing worker comfort and safety, and can be padlocked to further enforce safety standards. The drum lid is built with steel and coated with a chemical-resistant powder, and is available in a number of colors.
