Bradley Corp. (Menomonee Falls, WI) has introduced its Navigator® Lead-Free Valves, which have recently earned certification from the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. The thermostatic mixing valves also comply with a California law (CA AB 1953) which requires products in contact with drinking water to contain less than 0.25% lead. Lead-free brass is used as the primary raw material, and is also utilized in the castings and bar stock, along with stainless steel. The company claims these new lead-free valves will continue to work as well as previous leaded models, and provides a 10-year warranty.
