Omron Electronics (Schaumburg, IL) extends its NS Series touch screen HMI’s with a 15-inch display that offers high brightness to enhance readability in indoor and outdoor applications. The NS15 offers built-in Modbus II, internet interfaces, and Ladder Monitor functionality to support industrial applications, from process control to material handling. The 15” TFT LCD display has a large viewing angle and a 1,024 x 768 resolution. Other features include:
- Standard RS-232C, RS-422A, Ethernet, and USB connections, along with support for PictBridge support via the USB slave connector.
- Built-up dual serial ports for long-distance multi-drop data exchange.
- Front panel function keys to provide flexible mentoring and control solutions.
- The ability to control the unit from a host PC without installing any special software through the Ethernet connection.
