Hyde Tools (Southbridge, MA) has developed its Rapid Valve Transfer spray painting system, useful for getting at hard-to-reach spots. With Hyde’s new product, the spray valve is separated from the gun, allowing for easy pivoting of the head to any angle. An included spraying pole allows painters to tackle projects up to 12 feet high without the use of scaffolding or a heavy gun on top of a pole — just remove the valve from the gun, attach to the pole, and continue painting. In addition, the company claims there is no need to depressurize the system while changing from gun to pole. The system operates at 3,600 psi and can handle a variety of coatings.
