Saddened by the damage plastics have incurred on the environment, one Japanese entrepreneur has developed a new machine that is capable of converting a variety of plastics right back into oil. This helps keep recycling costs down, and essentially creates another "home-grown" source of oil that could be used as gasoline in our nation's cars.
As an added bonus, the machine is actually small enough it could fit inside a person's home. Certainly, some forward-thinking Californian Prius drivers will soon be fueling their cars entirely on the plastic they would have otherwise recycled.
