In recognition of the need for alarm management as a means to improve operating reliability and safety at the world’s operating plants, the Instrument Society of America has entered into agreement with PAS Inc. to re-publish an alarm management handbook. An initial printing of the new book, titled “Alarm Management: Seven Effective Methods for Optimum Performance,” is co-authored by Eddie Habibi and Bill Hollifield. The softcover book is available for $79 from ISA at www.isa.org/alarmmanagement.
