"ComputerWorld" is reporting that China surpassed the U.S. to become the world's No. 1 exporter of IT goods last year. The statistic comes from a report released today by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development.
China exported $180 billion worth of information and communications technology (ICT) goods in 2004. By comparison, China exported $123 billion worth in 2003.
