ReedLink, a product search engine owned by Reed Business Information serving the manufacturing, life science, and construction verticals, has launched a registration service on its website, www.reedlink.com. Users who register can now send companies a “request for information” email or forward helpful articles and product information to colleagues via ReedLink.
“The goal of the registration service is to provide users access to a broad range of product research tools on ReedLink,” said Todd Baker, VP/GM of ReedLink, “and ultimately to understand the needs of our users better.”
Registration on ReedLink will continue to provide users free access to unlimited product information including product specifications, comparison charts, white papers, company profiles, product announcements, and specialized editorial content.
The ReedLink database holds millions of specifications for products in thousands of categories that are useful for engineers, life scientists, and users of construction equipment. Some categories that users can search and compare for are radiant heaters (accessible at: http://www.reedlink.com/ProductHome~Productid~26653.html) and worm gears (accessible at: http://www.reedlink.com/ProductHome~Productid~77705.html).
ReedLink has included a promotional giveaway as part of the registration drive. Users who register by April 30, 2006 can enter a sweepstakes contest for a Philips 42” plasma HDTV. Users can register on www.reedlink.com in two simple steps and in the process enter to win the plasma HDTV.
