Schurter (Santa Rosa, CA) introduced the 4763 Type F/J outlet for modern power distribution systems. The 4763 Type F/J outlet is designed for supporting different current ratings while simplifying intelligent PDU design and retrofits and can be used in data center, industrial, IT and telecommunications applications.
The 4763 Type F/J outlet provides a combined Type F and Type J power connection option for intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) and power management equipment using the TÜV safety requirements.
Features:
- Merges Type F and Type J compatibility into single outlet to support varying current ratings and streamline intelligent PDU architectures
- Maintains identical cut-out dimensions with existing Type J outlets, such as the SCHURTER 4797-5
- Available with integrated light guides for clear visual status indication directly on outlet face
- Fully compatible with V-Lock, P-Lock and TwyLock cord retention systems to prevent accidental disconnections in mission-critical environments
- Supports direct PCB mounting, offers configurations for various panel thicknesses and operates reliably across wide temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C
