(Manufacturing.net) — The Oak Brook Terrace, Ill.-based Pump Solutions Group (PSG) has announced the completion of its acquisition of Ebsray Pumps Pty. Limited. The maker of industrial pumps, located in Brookvale, Australia, will be merged into PSG’s Blackmer operation. The companies did not disclose financial details of the deal.
Ebsray was founded in the late 1930’s to design and manufacture regenerative turbine and positive displacement pump technologies, such as sliding vanes and gear-based varieties. PSG says the Ebsray pumps are ideal for the liquid petroleum gas, chemical and general industrial markets, and is already a recognized leader in Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe. The Ebsray product line includes sliding vane pumps, regerative turbine pumps, internal gear pumps and a variety of other products and services.
Tom Madden, PSG Vice President and General Manager of Blackmer, said in a release: “This acquisition is consistent with our strategic vision to expand PSG’s presence in select vertical markets. Ebsray’s pump technologies complement Blackmer’s and PSG’s current portfolio of pumps, and extends our ability to provide customers with the best possible solutions to meet the widest range of applications.”
