CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - EnPro Industries Inc., which makes sealing products and compressors, said Wednesday it bought Texflo Manufacturing Ltd., a private Canadian company that services compressors for the natural gas market in Western Canada.
Financial terms of the all-cash deal were not disclosed.
EnPro said the acquisition expands its product offerings to the natural gas compression market and improves its ability to serve Western Canadian markets.
Texflo employs 40 people and will be managed as part of EnPro's France compressor products division. It will continue to manufacture products and market its services from its facilities in Edmonton and Grande Prairie, Alberta.
France Compressor, headquartered in Stafford, Texas, has other Canadian operations in Medicine Hat, Lac La Biche, Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, as well as Brantford, Ontario.
