Paul Mueller Receives $16.9 Million Purchase Order From Nova

Stainless steel equipment will be used in Nova refineries to produce 60 million gallons of biodiesel.

Nova Energy Holding, Inc. announced Monday that it has signed purchase orders with Mueller Field Operations, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Paul Mueller Company, for the procurement and fabrication of stainless steel equipment for three planned Nova refineries capable of 60 million gallons of biodiesel production each.

"The stainless steel market is currently tight," said Kenneth Hern, Nova's Chairman and CEO. "By placing a purchase order now for the equipment for three facilities, we are locking up our supply of stainless steel and can avoid costly construction delays so that we can complete construction and commence producing biodiesel sooner than expected."

The purchase orders for $16.9 million in the aggregate were issued from Nova's wholly owned subsidiary, Biosource America, Inc. Biosource America is Nova's design/build subsidiary and employs civil, chemical, process, and mechanical engineers located in Butte, MT.

"We are excited to be closely associated with Nova," said Bill Allison, President of Mueller Field Operations, Inc. "We believe Nova has the talented personnel and innovative technologies necessary to be the leading producer of environmentally responsible biofuels. We are proud to be part of the team and wish them great success in this admirable endeavor."
