Chrysler Credit Card Can Bring Vehicle Discounts

Automaker teamed up with a Nebraska bank to offer a credit card that earns points that can bring cash discounts on car and truck purchases, parts, service and other items.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Chrysler Group has teamed up with a Nebraska bank to offer a credit card that earns points that can bring cash discounts on car and truck purchases, parts, service and other items.

The MasterCard, available through First National Bank of Omaha, will have Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram or Fiat brand names on them. Applications will be available at participating Chrysler dealerships or online starting in May, Chrysler said in a statement Wednesday.

The card, designed to reward loyalty to Chrysler Group's brands, gives customers points for all their purchases. Customers get three points for every dollar they spend at Chrysler Group dealers, two points for travel spending and one point per dollar for all other purchases, the company said. The points can then be redeemed for products and services.

Chrysler said most customers will get an instant decision when they apply for the card in a dealership. The card has no annual fee.
