Chrysler Promotes Two Execs

Automaker named Steve Williams head of regulatory affairs and Stephen Bartoli as head of product planning and business strategy in international markets.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Chrysler Group LLC on Thursday named new heads of regulatory affairs and international product planning.

Steve Williams will lead the company's regulatory activities. He retains his previous position as head of advanced engineering.

Williams is taking over regulatory responsibilities from Stephen Bartoli, who will become head of product planning and business strategy in international markets. Bartoli's international experience includes a stint as head of media relations, sales and marketing for Chrysler in Europe.

Chrysler wants to more than triple its international sales to 500,000 by 2014. The company is run by Fiat SpA, which took a 20 percent stake in Chrysler last year as part of its exit from bankruptcy protection.
