Armor Holdings Gets $50M AM General Order

Company will provide armor components to the vehicle maker's military-issue Humvees.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Armor Holdings Inc., which makes armor and security products, said Monday it received a $50 million order from AM General Corp. to provide armor components to the vehicle maker's military-issue Humvees.

The work will be done in 2007 at the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group facilities in Fairfield, Ohio, Armor Holdings said.

Armor Holdings shares added 10 cents to $86.85 in morning trading.
