PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Hella, a supplier of automotive lighting and electronic equipment, announced Monday that it signed an agreement with Chinese automotive manufacturer Geely to develop automotive electronics components and systems.
Hella will provide the technical support packages for vehicle body electronics for Geely.
“Signing this letter of intent is an important step in helping Hella’s intensive and extensive global collaborations,” said Jean-Francois Tarabbia, CEO of the Automotive Electronics Division at Hella KGaA Huek & Co.
“The cooperation between Geely and Hella signifies our further steps in using international resources within the automotive industry,” said Li Shufu, chairman of Geely.
