The FAA announced in a public statement that they will allow absolutely zero drones to fly at the Super Bowl.

An ad on the policy says, “Going to the big game? Have fun, cheer on your team, and keep it a ‘No Drone Zone.’ Don’t spoil the game. Leave your drone at home. #nodronezone.”

The FAA statement explains, “The FAA will establish a Temporary Flight Restriction that will be centered on the University of Phoenix Stadium. The TFR will consist of circular rings that will extend from the ground to 18,000 feet in altitude.” Unmanned aircrafts like drones are not permitted within a 30 mile ring around the stadium. The statement warns, “Anyone who operates an unmanned aircraft in the restricted area could face civil penalties and other   charges.”
