Welcome to a new feature we're trying out over the next few weeks: the Manufacturing.net Video of the Day. With an increasing amount of good content being distributed through video, we feel that it's important to give space to the best ones we've found. And we all know that sometimes, it's good to just take a break and take in some cool sights or interesting ideas.
In an 80-minute interview with Steven Colbert (uncharacteristically out of character), Tyson gives a number of lengthy tirades on the failures of our current educational system when it comes to harboring a new generation of engineers and scientists. A good watch for anyone interested in STEM policy.
Although, with the length of this video, you might want to wait until you're at home to watch it.
