The Navy has awarded a $27 million contract to Flir Systems Inc. for work on tracking equipment used on warships.
The contract is for sensors and other tools that help surface ships track threats. Work on the project will take place in Wilsonville, Ore. and last through August 2015.
Flir shares rose 22 cents to $25.18.
