Airbus says Hong Kong Airlines has confirmed an order for 25 aircraft, including 15 of its new A350 long-range, mid-size jets.
The European jet maker said in a statement Wednesday the order also included 10 of its A330-200 long-range aircraft. The order was first announced at the Farnborough International Airshow in July.
At catalog prices it's worth $5.7 billion, though carriers often negotiate discounts.
Airbus will begin delivering Hong Kong Airlines' A330s in 2012, and will deliver the carrier's first A350 in 2018, Airbus said.
