NetJets to buy up to 125 planes from Embraer

NetJets Inc., which sells partial ownership of business jets, said Monday it agreed to buy up to 125 aircraft from Brazilian plane maker Embraer.

Terms were not disclosed. NetJets said the announcement would cover midsize and large business jets and would be in addition to orders to buy more than $2.95 billion worth of aircraft.

NetJets said it would add Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft designed specifically for its fleet.

NetJets, which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Inc., said it operates more than 800 aircraft from manufacturers including Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker-Beechcraft.
