Communications gear maker Comtech Telecommunications Corp. said Wednesday that its Maryland subsidiary has received $25 million in new orders under a $384 million military contract.
The company, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. of Germantown, Md., is providing satellite equipment for the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command.
Comtech shares rose along with the broader market on Wednesday, climbing $1.15, or 5.5 percent, to $22.04.
