Defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. has landed contracts from the Navy and Air Force valued at about $23 million combined, the U.S. Department of Defense said Thursday.

The company's Mission Systems & Sensors division in Moorestown, N.J., received a $12.1 million contract from the Navy for management and engineering services related to the DDG 51 class combat system compartments and topside arrangements.

Work is expected to be completed by January.

The Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics Co., of Fort Worth, Texas, a contract valued roughly $11 million to add new composite blade seals to an existing contract for support of the F-22 fighter jet.
