SEATTLE (AP) -- Boeing Co. said Monday that Brazil's TAM Airlines has ordered two more extended range 777-300 aircraft, bringing the total number it has on order to 12.
The airplane can seat up to 365 passengers in three classes and has a maximum range of 7,930 nautical miles. TAM said the additional 777s will allow it to expand its longer-range routes.
The order is worth $569 million at list prices, although aircraft manufacturers routinely give good customers a discount off list prices.
