Boeing, Others Sign Deal To Work With NASA

HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -- NASA has selected five defense contractors to assist with research and technology development, mainly on aerospace vehicles, in a deal worth up to $400 million over five years.

NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., has contracted Analytical Services & Materials Inc., ATK Space Systems, Boeing Co., Lockheed Martin Corp., and Northrop Grumman.

The work will include structural mechanics and dynamics, aerodynamics, modeling and other functions to support work at Langley and other NASA centers, the agency said late Tuesday.
