FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Gov. Steve Beshear says a startup aerospace parts manufacturer is opening in western Kentucky.
Beshear says Blackhawk Composites will be opening a facility in Butler County. It's expected to create 20 new jobs to start and grow to 30 within its first year.
Beshear says there will also be an investment of more than $1.5 million.
The company, which was established last month, will be leasing a 40,000 square-foot facility to build parts for Cessna Caravan aircraft cowls.
