Boeing Gets $88.9 Million Navy Deal For F-18 Spare Parts

Boeing's subsidiary McDonnell Douglas will manufacture the spare parts for the F-18's flight services systems.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy awarded an $88.9 million contract to a unit of Boeing Co. for new spare parts for the F-18 series aircraft.

Boeing's subsidiary McDonnell Douglas will manufacture the spare parts for the F-18's flight services systems.

The company will perform the work in St. Louis through October 2010.

Shares of Boeing rose 27 cents to $96.90.
