Bombardier Sells 19 Jets For $702 Million

Bombardier Aerospace was awarded a contract to sell 19 CRJ-900 regional aircraft to My Way Airlines of Vicenza, Italy, in an order valued at $702 million.

TORONTO (AP) - Bombardier Aerospace was awarded a contract to sell 19 CRJ-900 regional aircraft to My Way Airlines of Vicenza, Italy, in an order valued at $702 million.

My Way plans to operate the Bombardier aircraft on domestic and regional routes. The airline also has a fleet of five Airbus A320 jets for serving scheduled destinations in Europe and the Middle East.

Bombardier said Monday that 15 of the firm orders could be converted to modified CRJ-900X aircraft if the Montreal-based company goes ahead with that program. If it doesn't proceed with the CRJ-900Xs, the order for CRJ-900s remains.
