On Wednesday, Ford put an end to the rumor mill and announced plans to split its internal combustion and electric vehicle operations into individual businesses. Ford will name its gas division Ford Blue and its EV business will be called Ford Model e -- and it just so happens that Tesla wanted the exact same name almost 10 years ago.
