Company has announced the release of a heavy duty mobile power distribution substation that features two 75K VA transformers with pin and sleeve connections.

The MGS-1X480.200-2X75K-2X208.200 power distribution system from Larson Electronics is designed to provide operators with one 200 amp male pin and sleeve plug at 480 volts and two 200 amp 208Y female pin and sleeve connectors. On the primary side, this customized distribution panel has a 480 volt Delta line-in Russell Stoll male pin and sleeve connector which provides power to the two 75KVA transformers. The transformers then step the 480 volt Delta down to 208 Wye to feed the two female pin and sleeve connectors. On the primary side, a 480 volt disconnect provides protection for the two 75 KVA transformers. On the secondary side, two 208/120 volt disconnects provide protection for the two 208 Wye female connectors. Each breaker panel is protected by a heavy duty on and off switch. Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed and ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. This distribution assembly is mounted on a rugged, powder coated, carbon steel frame with integrated skid pockets and top corner located lifting eyelets that allow for easy lifting with cable or chain hooks.

โ€œThis particular unit is a prime example of how Larson can customize large power distribution systems for particular applications,โ€ said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. โ€œThis system utilizes two 75 KVA transformers which enables the operator to use 208Y power for two female pin and sleeve receptacles.โ€
