Zebra Technologies has announced it has launched the new ZT400 series printers, Zebra’s latest mid-range printer offering that will replace all ZM series printers. The ZT400, like the current ZM, is intended to offer maximum feature flexibility to address a broad range of applications including those in harsh environments where adaptability is needed. As part of the new enhancements for the printer, the ZT400 will offer easier loading, simpler set up, increased connectivity options, Link-OS™ capabilities and on-pitch radio frequency identification (RFID) encoding.
User needs are changing and the ZT400 series was created in response to the increased trend of customers using distributed printing models. ZT400 Series printers are Link-OS enabled providing enhanced capabilities to monitor and manage the printer from any location. Because the printer can be centrally managed, the technical skill of its end users is minimal, which meets user demand for solutions that increase productivity. Expanded RFID capabilities also meet the growing need for enterprise insights by enabling greater tracking capabilities and visibility through RFID technology.
