The lifter is made from 304 stainless steel, and is ideal for food, pharmaceutical and other applications where cleanliness is essential, and washdowns common. For harsh environments, the stainless construction means it’s more corrosion-resistant that non-stainless products. The company says one important design advantage is that the drum is supported by two bars, and secured around the girth by a positive grip cinch chain and a ratchet mechanism.
