The EXTER T100 panel allows the company’s operators and facility managers to easily control the temperature and humidity of the coffee roasting chambers. Both companies say the HMI technology from Beijer is critical to the overall roasting process, which is critical to produce a good cup of coffee. The interface also allows the roasting process to be controlled remotely, with customers receiving emails at the end of each process with detailed data.
The EXTER T100 features a 10.4” HMI panel that is durable yet lightweight, with a 64K-color, TFT-LCD display, touchscreen and a high-performance Intel XScale processor. Included Information Designer software helps users create applications to efficiently interface between systems, machines and operators.
